Dr. Daniel Wank
Dr. Daniel Wank has been caring for patients in New York City for over 35 years, building a reputation grounded in clinical excellence, honesty, and genuine commitment to the people he treats. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University and completed residencies in both General Practice and Periodontics at the Manhattan Veterans Administration Hospital. His advanced training in periodontics — the specialty focused on gum health, bone structure, and dental implants — means patients can receive comprehensive care from preventive cleanings to complex implant placement and gum surgery without ever being referred to another office.
Dr. Wank's dedication to the profession extends well beyond the operatory. He is a past president of the Alumni Association of NYU College of Dentistry, past president of the Eastern Dental Society (a branch of the New York County Dental Society), and a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association, and the Northeastern Society of Periodontics. These credentials reflect decades of leadership and continued involvement in advancing dental care.
Above all, Dr. Wank believes dentistry is personal. He is known for taking the time to listen, for never pressuring patients into unnecessary treatment, and for being available around the clock when someone needs him. Following in the footsteps of his father — Dr. Gerald Wank, a distinguished NYU professor and specialist who practiced in New York City for decades — Dr. Daniel carries forward a family legacy rooted in integrity, skill, and a deep respect for the people who trust him with their care.

Dr. Bradley Wank
Dr. Bradley Wank represents the third generation of the Wank family in dentistry, joining his father's Midtown East practice after completing his dental education and residency training. He first discovered his passion for the profession while working in his father's office during a summer in high school — witnessing firsthand the immediate, life-changing impact that skilled dental care can have on a person's confidence and well-being. That experience set him on a path from political science studies in college to a post-baccalaureate program in the sciences and ultimately to dental school.
Dr. Bradley brings a fresh perspective to the practice while honoring the values he grew up with. He played a key role in integrating advanced technology into the office, including digital scanning and CBCT 3D imaging, ensuring the practice stays at the forefront of modern dentistry. At the same time, he shares his father's philosophy that technology should serve the patient — used when it genuinely improves diagnosis and treatment, not simply because it's available.
What drives Dr. Bradley most is the variety and problem-solving that dentistry demands. No two patients and no two cases are exactly the same, and he thrives on the challenge of tailoring care to each individual. He is passionate about continuous learning, building trust with every patient he sees, and carrying forward a family tradition of thoughtful, relationship-based care that has served New York City families for generations.
Yes, we accept most major PPO dental insurance plans. Our team verifies your benefits and handles the paperwork so you don't have to worry about it. We'll always let you know what's covered before any treatment begins, and we offer flexible financing options if your care goes beyond what insurance covers. Give us a call at 212-867-0345 and we'll check your plan before your first visit.
We're a three-generation family dental practice with over 35 years of experience in Midtown East. Unlike corporate dental chains where you see a different provider every visit, here you see the same doctors every time — Dr. Daniel Wank and Dr. Bradley Wank. We also handle nearly everything in-house, from routine cleanings and cosmetic dentistry to dental implants, periodontal care, and root canals, so you're never sent running across the city for referrals.
Your first visit is a comprehensive exam, not a rushed cleaning. We take the time to look at everything — your teeth, your gums, your bite, and your overall oral health. We use digital X-rays and advanced imaging when needed, and we sit down with you to explain what we're seeing in plain language. There's no pressure to commit to a treatment plan on the spot. We believe the best decisions happen when you feel informed and comfortable.
Absolutely. Dental pain doesn't follow a schedule, and neither do we. If you have a cracked tooth, a severe toothache, swelling, or any urgent dental issue, call us at 212-867-0345. Our phone rings directly to the doctors, even after hours. If you're already a patient, we know your history, which means we can treat you faster and more safely when it matters most.
Yes, and here's why — most dental problems don't hurt until they've already progressed. A small cavity that's painless today can turn into a root canal six months from now. Early gum disease has no symptoms at all until bone loss begins. When you come in twice a year, we catch those small issues early while they're still simple and affordable to fix. Think of it less as "just a cleaning" and more as protecting your future health, your comfort, and your wallet.
